Google hits an all-time high for search share according to Neilsen
Google is zooming an all-time high for search share in the United States. This new statistics ranking is based on the April 2008 search share stats from Nielsen Online that were released two days ago(May 19).
Hitwise also released their ratings for search engine share in the United States. Like Nielsen, Yahoo and Microsoft are down.
Top search providers and the total percentage shares:
1. Google Search - 62.0%
2. Yahoo! Search - 17.5%
3. MSN/Windows Live Search - 9.7%
4. AOL Search - 4.3%
5. Ask.com Search - 2.1%
6. My Web Search - 0.7%
7. Comcast Search - 0.6%
8. AT&T Worldnet Search - 0.3%
9. NexTag Search - 0.3%
10. My Way Search 0.2%
