Closing the Nexus One web store

Google is shutting down its Nexus One web store as they received their last shipment of Nexus and after this batch, Google will no longer be selling Nexus One phones online anymore.
Vice President Andy Rubin said, "while the global adoption of the Android platform has exceeded our expectations, the web store has not...it's clear that many customers like a hands-on experience before buying a phone."
It's a great Android phone but it fall short in attracting worldwide consumer. Retailers like Vodafone in Europe and KT in Korea will still release the product.

Yeah, it's kind of reassuring that Google can't immediately take their hand to everything. That they brought out a branded phone is one thing, but assuming they could also take the place of existing channels in one of the most competitive verticals around was presumptious to say the least.
Google has too much endurance power. It takes time in every case.
