YouTube Upload limit increases to 15 minutes

Enjoy more time showing your personal clips and illegal video collections as YouTube decided to increased its upload limit from 10 min to 15 minutes for non-partners.

Aside from the added minutes, YouTube is beefing up copyright security as they create a Content ID system for copyright owners which will give them more option and control to their content.

With the improved protection which will sniff out more copyrighted material, so don't expect that you can easily upload more minutes of illegal videos.

Acer's Android smartphone called "Stream" got a market release date and it is on August 9, available exclusively from online retailer eXpansys.

It offers 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 512 MB RAM, Bluetooth 3.0, HSDPA. WiFi and runs via Android 2.1 (Éclair).

"Stream" also has HDMI output, micro-SD card slot support up to 32GB and 5 megapixel camera for your 720p HD recording and high quality photos.

Availability of the White iPhone 4 delayed again!

Once again, the much anticipated sexy white iPhone 4 has been delayed. Apple is pushing the availability date "later this year". I'm sure Apple is busy fixing the antenna reception issue and maybe rushing to release it will just create problem.
White models of Apple’s new iPhone® 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.

iPad Available in Nine More Countries This Friday

The demand continues to grow for Apple's iPad and now it will be available in nine more countries this coming Friday (July 23). They are Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore.
iPad is currently available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and the US for a suggested retail price of $499 (US) for 16GB, $599 (US) for 32GB, and $699 (US) for 64GB for iPad Wi-Fi models and $629 (US) for 16GB, $729 (US) for 32GB and $829 (US) for 64GB for iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G models. iPad will roll out to many more countries later this year and Apple will announce availability and local pricing for these additional countries at a later date.

Closing the Nexus One web store

Google is shutting down its Nexus One web store as they received their last shipment of Nexus and after this batch, Google will no longer be selling Nexus One phones online anymore.
Vice President Andy Rubin said, "while the global adoption of the Android platform has exceeded our expectations, the web store has not...it's clear that many customers like a hands-on experience before buying a phone."
It's a great Android phone but it fall short in attracting worldwide consumer. Retailers like Vodafone in Europe and KT in Korea will still release the product.

Apple's iPhone 4 Antenna Issue: Free Bumper case and Refund option

Apple will release free protective bumper cases to all the buyers who purchased the latest iPhone 4 model to solve the woes of signal loss and dropped calls and it was announced last Friday during a news conference at Apple's HQ.

Eligible to receive the free bumbers are the 3 million people who already bought the unit and new buyers through Sept. 30. If you already bought the bumper cases, a refund will be given to you.

If users are still unsatisfied, they can return the phone for a full refund.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs, "And if you're not happy, you can bring the phone back. We'll give you a full refund within 30 days. No restocking fee. We want to make everyone happy, and if we can't make you happy we'll give you a full refund."

The reception issue became a major scar and an embarrassment to the company but still it is a major leap in terms of specs and sales. Improvement will be surely be taken in the next batch of iPhone 4.

Apple sold 3 million iPhone 4 in 3 Weeks

Apple announced that they reached an outstanding figures from the sales of the iPhone 4 which is 3 million units in the first three weeks. Many will say its a large number but actually, it is a slow down.

Apple manage to sold 1.7 million units during the first week and it seems the sales went down after facing the problem in supply and the scar given by antenna issue which until now is still the top priority.

Still the sales is impressive! BTW, white iPhone 4 will be available at the end of July.
