The demand in tablet PC is definitely high and Gome wants to get into action in the Tablet arena by launching its own brand. Gome is the biggest consumer electronic products and appliances dealer in China.
Gome in introducing "FlyTouch" tablet PC which they described as a "Mini iPad". This gadget is packed with Android 1.6 system, powered by VIA 8505+ processor (400MHZ), 7-inch LED backlit LCD resistive touch screen, 256MB DDR2 RAM, and a built-in webcam. (other specs are not yet available)
Including the battery, it weighs 0.407kg and price tag is 999 Yuan (USD 146.00).
