eGANG Corporation has recently unveiled their new W3 IGM-7000 Audio Mouse which has a built-in stereo speaker and a microphone.

Offering 1000dpi, a 2-channel stereo speaker and a microphone that can be used for listening to music and internet call and video chatting etc. -Aving

This is an interesting concept, but I don't know that the audio capabilities really make the product worth while. The additional media buttons imply thoughtful design, but in the end I feel like I would always question the fidelity of the sound coming out of my mouse!

The article that you posted is very interesting, like this mouse. I think so it was too expensive at retail, but I've since seen this mouse and similar models at much reduced prices. Now is your chance to grab it up!

This is so cool. Although I find it hard to understand the need of audio and microphone for a mouse. But it's good technology regardless.

You don't see many mouses with these kind of technology, and honestly I don't get the whole idea with it have a built-in speaker. But it's still pretty cool if you think about it.
