Samsung F4EG EcoGreen - 2TB HDD
Samsung Electronics will be rolling out the F4EG EcoGreen, environmentally friendly desktop hard disk drive for the desktop market.
The 3.5-inch EcoGreen desktop hard disk offers 2TB capacity with three platters (667GB for each of its three disks). The new F4EG drive is 19 percent better in standby time performance and power consumption is 23 percent lower in standby mode than the previous model, the F3EG.
This 3.0Gbps SATA disk with a 32MB buffer will be available early September. Price tag at $120.
