Murata Manufacturing Company Ltd. proudly announced the world’s first ultra-thin waterproof piezoelectric speaker (model: VSLBG1914E1400-T0), which has the thickness of only 0.9mm and it is designed for Mobile phones, mobile music players, digital still cameras, digital video cameras, IC recorders, e-books, and other mobile gizmos.
This thin speaker uses IPX7* grade waterproof protection which doesn't use any waterproof sheets, helps eliminating the material costs of the sheets and sound degradation.
