"APad": iPad clone from China




Trying to compete with Apple's new baby, the iPad, is China's own tablet computer called the "APad".

The Chinese clone version is equipped with a 7-inch touch screen (800x480 resolution) it is powered using processor Rockchip 2808A 600 MHz, 128 MB of RAM and 4GB ROM.

It also has web camera, Wi-Fi 80211b/g, microSD slot (up to 16 GB), mini USB 2.0, T-flash, 3.5mm headphone, In-built microphone, acceleromete and Google Maps using GPS connection.

This gadget is running on Android 1.5 OS and price tag at $169.

LOL, leave it to china to make something called APad, I mean, the naming is just pure genius! If it is cheap, it will definitely sell. Which is too bad really.
the iPad seems to be the best thing since slice bread. When that happens, you are sure to find copycats fast, as we can see with the chinese apad...
