Pioneer's BDR-205 - fast 12X Blu-ray writer
Pioneer has unveiled their BDR-205 Blu-ray writer, world’s first and fastest model in 12x write speed on BD-R (25Gbytes) and BD-R DL (50Gbytes) media. In a SATA connection interface, it is also provide 16x DVD burn speeds and 40x CD write speeds.
The retail version of this product, the BDR-2205 (4 Mbyte data buffer), will be available Q1 2010 for $249.
